In a hard fought game Blasters went out of the cup to a solitary goal. The first 30minutes belonged to Blunty, who dominated possession and camped in the Milton half. They created chance after chance, but just did not have the finish.

Milton did win a penalty when the ball was hoofed up front and the forward ran into Olly, but Harry made a great save and justice was done.

A scrappy second half led to chances at both ends, Milton capitalising on a goalmouth scramble to take the game 1 – 0.  Blasters never gave up and in a thrilling last 5 minutes again camped in the Milton penalty box, but couldn’t produce an equaliser.

A great effort from the team which on another day, with a bit more luck would have been a comfortable win.

There were a number of great performances and picking a man of the match would have been extremely difficult.
