Over played well in the first half and made it difficult for Blasters to settle. Many opportunities were missed by the lads, then the Over goalie hoofed the ball over the defence for their striker to blast over Harry, to put them 1-0 up. Some nice balls played from the right gave Dit  some great opportunities on the left. He eventually slotted home and Harvey, shortly afte,r netted another.     

First half heroics by Harry kept their score down to one, so Blunty went off at half time 2-1 up.

Controlled passing, one touch football, teamwork and discipline have been the hallmark of the team this season. A talk from management at half time meant that these principles were adhered to in the second half. Relief from the away crowd was palpable, as the lads settled to the football they were used to watching.

6 goals were scored by the lads in 30 minutes of football and it could have been more. Samuel was slipped some great balls and layed off well to his midfield, Roo and Josh were unstoppable down the right, Tom skilful as ever on the left.

Final score 8-2.

Well done boys, what a great season it has been.  You have produced the most enjoyable football in the league and the parents have expressed what a joy it is to see you play this way. Your camaraderie is great and you work hard for each other. The spread of goals throughout the squad, shows maturity beyond your years, putting others before yourselves to benefit the team.

HARVEY- Lay off by Macca for Harvey to shoot from edge of box into top of the net.

MACCA- Lay off by Samuel for Macca to slot.

HARVEY- total football throught the team for Harvey to finish.

OLLY- Long range shot low and hard.

BESTY- Corner from Josh, spilled by goalie, tap in by Tom.

SAMUEL- Macca pass wide to Josh, who drove in hard and low, Samuel touched through into goal.

SAMUEL- Silky passing around the box for Samuel to finish.
